Description
Nyhavn is a 17th Century waterfront area situated in the Danish capital, Copenhagen. This incredibly atmospheric harbour is a hive of activity from dawn till dusk, the rainbow coloured townhouses on the waters edge, the selection of bars, restaurants and shops providing something for every visitor to the city whether it be a meal, a drink or a photographic opportunity. Pretty little wooden boats bob shyly amongst the much larger fishing vessels and tourist transport. Picturesque and historic, the fairytale Nyhavn was once home to Hans Christian Andersen and a plaque marks the spot at No.67. I blended textures with my original photograph to compliment the vintage feel of this old world scene.
