Description
As I'm always fascinated by the different ways in which people choose to adorn and decorate their balconies, I was delighted to discover this one in Zurich's Old Town. A public art exhibit known as 'Cow Parade' has been featured in many cities around the globe and most of us will, at one time or another, have come across one of these fibreglass cow sculptures individually decorated by artists local to the area. The concept actually originated in Zurich, Switzerland in 1998 and has since spurred similar projects worldwide. I wondered how long this one had been here, proudly displaying its home town on its side and watching the citizens of Zurich go about their business from its vantage point high above. It's not every day you see a cow on a balcony.

Thanks Jake, glad you like the shot! Haha....now that is a good question!!! Maybe it was trying to jump over the moon but only made it to the balcony? :)

The question that arises of course, how did the cow get there? :) Great shot. Wonderful capture Carol.
