Description
After a great trip to the Latvian capital city, Riga, I was so glad I took time out to stop by the Aviation Museum next to the airport. It has an amazing selection of vintage aircraft on display in the open air in a fantastic authentic setting, amongst them are many from the Cold War era, built in the former Soviet Union or Czechoslovakia. Pictured here are an LET L-13 Blanik Glider, a Soviet SU-7BKL and in the background, an Aero L-29 Delfin Jet Trainer. I could have spent all day wandering around if I hadn't a flight to catch!
